Short Set Vertical Turbines are preferred in applications less than 30’ deep and are typically configured to be water lubricated, although they can be oil lubed as well for increased longevity.

Short Sets are extremely versatile and can be multi-stage for maximum flexibility both in the initial pump selection and if future system modifications require a change in the pump rating.

A short set turbine pump can be driven by an above-ground vertical motor, an engine or horizontal motor through a right-angle gear drive, a flat belt pulley or a V-belt pulley connected to an engine.
